I was there

OK, I was watching on TV, but I've never come closer to becoming a player collector than in the moments immediately after witnessing Bartolo Colon hit a home run.

Colon is now my lasting answer for ending the DH forever.

I really need more of his cards.

I know Thor grabs most of the N.Y. eyes, but I love watching Big Bart, pitching or hitting. That's entertainment, right there.

Hopefully, he'll get a Topps NOW card out of this. ;^)

Probably has some Expos cards out there too.

I am glad to hear that there were real eyewitnesses to this event, I was about to strap on a tin-foil batting helmet and assume Topps faked the whole thing to sell more Topps Now cards. And yes, I ordered one. Jeez! Colon hit a home run! That's what Topps Now is for! I'm guessing series 2 and/or update will have several cards commemorating this event.
I will pull some Colon cards for you. I'm sure I have plenty.

Wow! Not only was there a Topps NOW card for Bartolo's home run, the print run absolutely demolished the previous print run high. Jake Arrieta's No Hitter was the previous leader, with a print run of 1808. Bartolo's home run finished its 24 hour order period with a print run of 8,826!

Huge fan of Colon. I loved watching him pitch in Oakland... but glad he was able to get paid and continue his success as a Met.
Bartolo was fun to watch when he was in Oakland, and still fun to watch. I was unhappy that he was not resigned as I believe the A's thought he didn't have much left in the tank because he was about 39 at the time.
