Night Owl Cards

  There's sometimes this attitude that custom cards aren't worth buying.   I'm guilty of feeling this way. Sometimes I'll run a search through ebay and automatically turn my nose up at some of the homemade cards that find their way into the results. Did someone just make that? There's no way anyone's paying for that!   I've been conditioned to buy cards created only by professionals. So I have certain standards. But if you have the custom-card-making skills, sure, I'll think about buying one. There's one custom card maker who's made me think long and hard about this. I am one of Alyssa Milano's 80 bajillion followers on Twitter. I don't know why really. I don't have much interest in her tweets, even though she is a rabid, rabid tweeter. I think I was hoping she'd tweet about the Dodgers a little more often -- seeing as she's a diehard fan. But I think I know why she doesn't tweet about the Dodgers a whole lot. From being a follower, I've learned that she is relentlessly positive, and there AIN'T NOTHING POSITIVE about the Dodgers. If I had to guess at her reaction to my team's absolute pathetic discarding of a 7-run 8th-inning lead, I'd say it'd be something short and not-so-sweet. Are these the two most hated men in the country right now? Seriously, is there anyone a close second? At least in the circles that I run in, whether at work or in everday life, I keep hearing from people who wish these two guys would go away. And on the Internet? Woo-boy. He doesn't like them, and they aren't too fond of them, and although I can't find any particular related posts at this late hour, I do know that he and he and he don't like the guy on the right at all. And for the sake of full disclosure, I'm not crazy about him either. So my question is, what in particular don't you like about Buck or McCarver? Or about Buckmccarver? I've seen general complaints, but I'm curious to see if there are one or two major common complaints about these two. So, please, I'd very interested in what you have to say. Let loose!
