Amazing how much of the end of that game echoed other games one or both franchises have played in the post season. Alex Verdugo's catch reminded me of Sandy Amoros. The fan interference home run obviously recalled Jeffrey Maier. And then of course the ending most of all. Wild.
If the Yankees had a manager with a brain that would have been Hill pitching instead of Cortes. Probably would have lost anyway though. The better team won.
