Anyway, it's just a theory. I'm sure other people could come up with several other reasons. But I know one thing: these frightening five didn't help matters.(I guess that means I'm not sorry anymore, Bruce. You SCARRED me).

Note the lack of drop shadows on the '50s cards. It might have something to do with your normalcy.
That and sideburns that went way below the bottom of the ears.
Bruce must have dropped a significant portion of his baseball income on hair products.
