I don't feel like posting one bit II

The trade posts will continue until morale improves. ...

Here are some enhancements to my Nomo collection from Offy:

It was only within the last year that I figured out that there were both silver and gold parallels of these Bowman First Impressions cards. Previously I thought it was just a printing flaw. And while we're still in "clueless night owl" territory, I'm guessing that there is yet another parallel of which I'm unaware.

"Destination Fall Classic." Isn't that cute? Unfortunately, Nomo never made the Fall Classic. He didn't even make an NLCS. But back-to-back NLDS losses? That's bragging material there.

The stretchiest wind-up stretch since those old guys in wool uniforms.

I'll excuse the appearance of Randy Johnson here, because Nomo has the better nickname. Tornado vs. Big Unit is not even worth comparing.

What a wonderfully, wriggly little critter this card is. However, my scanner didn't like it. Here is how it decided to crop it:

Tsk, tsk, scanner. That is SO pedestrian.

Whoa! Museum Collection! That is my favorite Nomo of the bunch. Step, BACK son, and take in royalty.

Huh? Kuroda? How'd he get in here? He'll never be Nomo.

Hu? Who? Where's Nomo? Something's going haywire here.

Wha? Gagne? He's not even Asian!

Oh no ...

Oh no. No, no, no, no, no. I'm not having this. Kent? This whole post has taken an ugly turn.

I'm just gonna ... I'm ending things right here.

Sorry.

This is why we can't have nice things.

When work sucks.

Hey N.O. Did you get my email?

Having lived through a tornado, I'd prefer to have a 'big unit' over a tornado any day.

I'm going to miss that Dufex Nomo, but I've got to continue cutting down on stuff that I'm not actively collecting.

Sorry if I threw in any Dodgers you don't care for. I just went through my stacks and stacks of parallels and threw them all in. I imagine it would be similar to people sending me cards of Trot Nixon or Mike Greenwell. They go right into the pile of cards to send off to other Red Sox collectors. Hopefully you can use them to acquire some more new Nomos.

(Yes, I am this far behind in my Google Reader reading.)
