Cardboard appreciation: 1974 Topps Traded Fernando Gonzalez

(How do you convince your child that despite all you've taught her, about respecting others and being kind, that sometimes standing up for yourself -- even if it means getting "in trouble" -- is sometimes necessary? I'm starting to miss the days of "I'll kiss it and make it all better." Let's go to Cardboard Appreciation. Believe it or not, this is the 100th in a series):

I doubt it.

Somebody keep Mr. Gonzalez away from sharp objects.

I can see why the guy was miserable. ;)

He went from the Pirates to the Royals but he did end up on the Yankees later in the 1974 season.

In this card, Doug Favell looks none to happy to be airbrushed into a Leaf uniform....
