Don't look, Dodgers fans. It's too painful

My former favorite player is now a member of the team which shall not be named.

But just as painfully, someone else has taken over Russell Martin's talent for making the best baseball cards of any current ballplayer.

It's someone who used to be a part of the Dodgers organization. Someone with a great degree of hope and promise.

This is the guy who has taken your crown, Russell:

Yes, it's the former L.A. catching prospect who was traded for an aging Casey Blake in order to make room for a 15-year career in Dodger blue for Russell Martin.

Urp.

And we all know what the Dodgers' catching situation is now.

I think Carlos says it best:

That Carlos. He does it all.

Adios, Russ.

I apologize in advance for what I am about to do, it is wrong and hurtful and I am a bad person. However this is the last opportunity that I will ever have to do it so I'm taking that opportunity. May God have mercy on my soul.

RUSSELL IS STILL NOT AS GOOD A CATCHER AS BRIAN MCCANN!!!

Man, that felt good. Now I shall go in the penalty box for two minutes and feel shame.
As a Yankees fan, I'm not so sure about this move. It means the Yanks are gearing up to trade away a pitching prospect. I hate when they trade away players. Especially as a collect. I started collecting Jackson, he gets traded. I started collecting Jesus Montero (catcher), and I'm hoping the Yanks don't trade him too. Should be interesting. The yanks have like 5-6 solid catchers between who's on the MLB roster and prospects.
At least he won't be catching Cliff Lee. I know, it's not much, but it's all I've got.
