The excitement over the selection of the most recent Baseball Hall of Fame class has passed, but I haven't addressed it with my usual Hall of Fame update yet. I'll cite the usual laziness and busyness.
There are four more people to add to the list of the most Hall of Famers for each Topps flagship set -- Adrian Beltre, Todd Helton, Joe Mauer and Jim Leyland. Also, I always find more sets to include in the rundown and this time I'm finishing off the 1950s. I also take the opportunity of the most recent class to update sets in which those inductees appeared.
These are all recent guys in this class so the sets I'm adding this time are 1999, 2014 and 2015 (the sets Leyland appeared in I've covered already).
Once I'm finished with this update, there will be just one more update to go! I've been doing these for more than 10 years so I'll be happy to cut back on this -- though I'll have to update one a year when a new class is elected.

Phew, that was a two-day project but the 1950s are done. I knew that none of those years would have a lot of Hall of Famers. The limited set size and especially the parceling of stars between Topps and Bowman cut down on the numbers.
Jim Leyland's addition helped sets in the late '80s and early '90s, but especially the late '00s sets when included with Beltre, Helton and Mauer. 2012 broke into double digits. Also, the 2018 set has its first Hall of Famers in Beltre and Mauer.
As for the top 10, the leaders remain the same but the lower half changed a bit. 1993 jumped to tied for sixth and 1992's move to 46 total cut off previous top 10 sets from 1968, 1974, 1979, 1981 and 1985, which all have 45.

Meanwhile, I think 1969 and 1983 are the sets with the most Hall of Famers for the forseeable future!
