But having a blog a way for me to connect with other collectors and make some new friends, and to also keep me interested in collecting. Otherwise, it might be too easy for me to step away again.

I always try to remember it's the cards that bind us. I have no interest in 29 of the teams that others blog about, yet I still religiously read their posts. The different hobbies and collecting focuses that you mention are part of what I find most interesting. Keep doing your thing and we'll keep reading...and trying not to piss you off with our posts;)

Glad you're rested and feeling better. Seriously though, I just think I'm too dang sensitive, plus I've actually posted this month.

Hope you feel better and stay better NO. Second of all, and more seriously, I hope like hell it wasn't one of my posts.

I don't think I could get away with yelling at my boss, even if I was right and EVERYONE knew it.

I've had a lot of those junk posts lately for the same reason. I think it might be better (for me) to take a week or two off than to put up something I look back on and ask myself "Why?".

I hope things get back on a more even keel for you.

If you make a sub-category in the Bad Ass Club for hair, Oscar's hair has to take the top spot.Play at the Platehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14231140141558021698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-19361154069294426292011-06-21T01:45:58.920-04:002011-06-21T01:45:58.920-04:00You're not different than every fellow card bl...You're not different than every fellow card blogger. Take me for example. I'm with you on 4 of your 5 points (I do enjoy movies though I watch them at home to avoid the annoyances of being around other people). I'm mystified by almost any technology other than my desktop computer. I have a top notch home theater system that I can't make heads or tails of. No Facebook. I have no interest in science fiction and I've never played a video game except for one round of golf on a Wii system. Pro wrestling? Ugh.

Then again I'm almost 60. ::shrug::

;-0Commishbobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18069472376708715755noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-4239449659040076762011-06-21T01:01:31.829-04:002011-06-21T01:01:31.829-04:00I've kind of had the same issue with a lot of ...I've kind of had the same issue with a lot of bloggers...I find a few who I see eye to eye with, but a lot I'll never understand besides the common love for cards. That said, it's interesting to me when people ramble on about their hobbies that are unrelated to mine. Like when Charley of Behind These Hazel Eyes shows off sketch cards, or Fuji talks flea market finds of the non-cardboard variety.

Cards are always what I come back to, but it's nice to virtually walk around in other people's hobbies now and then via a good blog post.SpastikMoosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13374559066158419166noreply@blogger.com
