I'd swear they were mythical, but there's probably still enough of the overall production run sitting around unopened & unwanted for them to hide in :)Paul Hadsallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16886355050567035004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-7996500304699618432012-01-29T17:47:16.489-05:002012-01-29T17:47:16.489-05:00I do love 88, 89 and 90 Donruss, but this set neve...I do love 88, 89 and 90 Donruss, but this set never really did too much for me.

Looking back, I don't remember buying too much of this set but I have a good chunk of cards. I didn't even open the packs (I was 5 in 1991 and not into cards yet) but I would get the puzzle pieces in repacks all the time and it was awful because you know you're never gonna get them all. Even worse, many stores I went to (two general stores in particular) would put like 4 of the SAME PUZZLE PIECE in each bag. So you got one card of Stargell's knees - I would've gotten 4 copies out of like 50 cards. Awful stuff.

But I did love Johnny Ray as a kid. Especially in 1998 when Jimmy Ray came out with the song "Are You Jimmy Ray?" The song always made me think of the player, and vice versa.SpastikMoosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13374559066158419166noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-64021257716252117072012-01-29T15:17:15.036-05:002012-01-29T15:17:15.036-05:00What the hell were the 2 million prizes that Donru...What the hell were the 2 million prizes that Donruss was giving away.
