It will be a while before I get the 1970 and 1971 cards -- those are tough! The 1976 set is my favorite. After having recently read "Card Sharks" I suspect the reason was a substantial increase in their licensing fee from the MLBPA at which point Kellogg's likely opted to discontinue the sets. That's purely speculation on my part, but it's probably no coincidence that Ralston Purina picked up the license for 1984 when Kellogg's didn't.Jason Presleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13543465200431539036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-32824313194130320752014-11-18T21:03:26.274-05:002014-11-18T21:03:26.274-05:00Hobbies!Hobbies!BaseSetCallinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05508114484929386332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-2174779005508928612014-11-18T20:27:14.417-05:002014-11-18T20:27:14.417-05:00I love the old Kellogg's cards. I also ran my sugar highs through the 1982 and 1983 sets.

I want the 1976 type to come back as a Topps insert.Tony L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01349226671097456632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2700049103080920994.post-58330392040179612832014-11-18T20:17:34.604-05:002014-11-18T20:17:34.604-05:00Congrats on the completion.
